quoted Eva Zurek, professor of chemistry in the College of Arts and Sciences, in articles on the first room-temperature superconductor, which conducts electricity at 59 degrees Fahrenheit by crushing a carbon, sulfur and hydrogen compound between two diamonds at a pressure about 70% of that found at the center of Earth. The material could be used in applications ranging from quantum computing to building better MRI machines.
